Pit Less Weighbridge
This type of weighbridge is most suitable where the civil work for
foundation is difficult or construction of a pit is expensive. Since the
structure is above the ground, vehicles can only approach the weighbridge from
two directions where the ramps are present. This type of weighbridge usually
requires more space. In a Pitless Type Weighbridge, RCC ramp work must be made
at least three meters for both sides for easy movement of trucks or any other
vehicles. Additionally, this clearance will give not stress out the engine of
the vehicle.
The main advantages of the Pitless type weighbridge are:

With the addition of a load cell to mechanical weighbridge lever systems, many advantages of electronic weighing can be transferred to existing installation at a very nominal cost. A single Load Cell is inserted on the Transfer Level bottom wok of the Weighbridge.
Pad Weighing System
Pad
Weighing System is used where you need to weigh the Truck Load but you don’t
have the provision of a Weighbridge. In such a situation, Pad Weighing System
is used. The axle weight is calculated with the help of one Pair of Pads
placing under both the Tyres.
Mostly the Army and ordinance department prefers for this type of weighing
systems. Even preferred by Sea Port Logistics.
In-Motion Weighing
Weigh-in-motion (WIM) weighbridges are designed to capture and record truck axle weights and gross vehicle weights as they drive over a sensor. Unlike static weigh stations, Weigh-in-motion systems do not require the vehicle to come to a stand-still for displaying the weight .
